How to Make Your Own Bisquick When You’ve Run Out

Advertisements

This is my “go to” recipe for making Impossible Pies. It works well for any recipe that calls for biscuit mix and includes milk. I make up a large batch of the baking mix and then freeze it. I substituted oil for the butter and I go easy on the salt.

“Quick and easy substitute for Bisquick(R).”

Ingredients :

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter

Directions :

Sift flour into a bowl; add baking powder and salt and whisk until fully incorporated. Cut butter into flour mixture using a pastry cutter until evenly combined.
