Japanese people used homemade detox foot pads since ancient times. These are more like stick-on pads that are applied on the bottom of the feet, preferably overnight.
Next morning the pads would have changed their color and become much darker, because of all the toxins they have drawn from your body.
The bottom of your feet is the perfect place to apply the stick-on pads, as they stimulate blood flow and lymph into the body. Those who do not fancy exercising will experience a slower circulation around their ankles, lower legs and feet.
Use the pads if you are dealing with joint pain, headaches and fatigue. They are available in every health store or you can get a bit creative and make your very own detox foot pads.
Ingredients:
Onion
Garlic
Water
Self-stick gauze pads
Socks
Preparation:
Chop your onions and garlic finely and keep them aside.
Boil some water and add in the chopped veggies. Let them boil for another 10 minutes. When the water boils, leave it for another 20 minutes.
Once the mixture cools, place some of it onto the gauze pad, and make sure it covers its center only. Use just enough to moisturize the self-stick pad.
If you still use too much, squeeze any excess out. Make sure the remedy does not touch the sticky part of the pad. Apply the gauze pad onto the bottom of your feet, and focus onto the center part of your feet. Put on some warm socks to secure the pads and keep your feet warm.
Do this before you go to bed and next morning take off the detox pads. Never use the same pad again.
