Easy Poutine French Fries with Gravy

Everybody loves fries, that’s a fact! I don’t make them a lot, but when I do, it comes with gravy! Check out my recipe for an easy poutine french fries with gravy.

You’ll Need:

1 (1 lb 14 oz) bag of frozen potato wedges.
4 tbsps of butter.
¼ cup of all purpose flour.
1 minced shallot.
1 minced clove of garlic.
1 (32 oz) package of beef broth.
2 tbsps of ketchup.
1 tbsp of cider vinegar.
1 tbsp of whole green peppercorns.
1 tsp of worcestershire sauce.
Kosher salt.
Freshly ground black pepper.
Canola oil, for frying.
2 cups of cheddar cheese curds.

How to:

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium high heat, mix in the flour and cook for 2 minutes stirring constantly. Stir in the shallot and garlic and cook for 2 more minutes. Mix in the beef stock, ketchup, vinegar, peppercorns, worcestershire, salt and pepper.

Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 6 minutes stirring constantly to thicken. Turn off the heat and keep warm.

Prepare the frozen potato wedges according to the package directions, place them in serving bowls and top with gravy then cheese curds.

Serve warm and enjoy!

Simple, easy and crispy! The gravy is so good, it makes the fries tastes even better. With all the seasonings, the sauces… yummy!
