  • Roll your foot over a tennis ball or water bottle for about 60 seconds per foot.
  • You should cross one leg over your other leg. Then, pull your big toe upwards.
  • Stay in this position for approximately 14 seconds. After that, release and try it once more for three consecutive times.
  • Then, switch to your other foot.
  • You will need a folded towel which will serve as an exercise strap.
  • Place the towel under the arch of your foot, then stretch your foot in front of you by pulling upwards on the towel.
  • Stay in this position for about 30 seconds.
  • Try it out for three consecutive times.

The Calf Stretching Exercises

This exercise can alleviate the pain in the heels.

  • Extend your leg in a lunge-like motion.
  • Stay in this position for about 30 seconds.
  • Repeat this exercise three consecutive times for either leg.

  • You should maintain a healthy weight.
  • Regular exercises will keep you fit and healthy. Stretching the joints and muscleswill prevent the tightening of the ligaments in your feet.
  • You should wear the right footwear.Avoid wearing uncomfortable footwear, and also you have to avoid walking barefoot, in order not to apply additional pressure on your feet.
  • You should try to relax. Avoid putting an excessive pressure on your feet.
  • Always warm up prior to exercising.
